It was my absolute privilege and pleasure this year to design the branding and artwork for YWCA NSW’s major annual fundraiser, The Mother Of All Balls ‘La Belle Époque – A Night in Paris’.
The 2016 Mother of All Balls celebrated the ‘Beautiful Era’ in Paris, when ideas and the arts flourished. Guests were transported into an opulent Parisian night scene with dance and entertainment into the night. All proceeds go directly to supporting and expanding YWCA NSW services for women and children escaping domestic violence.
In addition to the satisfaction of contributing to an organisation and an event that I so earnestly support, it was such a treat to see the Hon. Anna Bligh and former Governor General, Dame Quentin Bryce, delivering incredible speeches on the same stage as my artwork and having the likes of Tara Moss sharing it on social media! I was abuzz on Twitter and Instagram while the event took place, seeing my work popping up associated with such a worthy cause. YWCA NSW are more than a valued client, they’re an incredible organisation that are making a real difference in the world and I’m grateful to be a small part of it.
Every year, YWCA NSW works tirelessly to help thousands of people across New South Wales. Their programs and services support people when they need help and range from early intervention services to youth leadership programs all the way through to services for homeless people.
